Arrive anytime after noon on Friday giving you plenty of time to check-in and prepare for your first opportunity to unplug and retreat.
Get here early enough and you can start out with your 30 minute massage, or schedule it at some point during the weekend.
Friday afternoons experiences will begin at 4pm with a 2 hour fully immersive Forest Bath, otherwise known as Shinrin Yoku, this Japanese discovered practice helps reduce stress, improves attitude, improves your immune system as well as generates NK cells which help fight off abnormal cells such as cancer cells.
This will set the tempo for your weekend and help with the reset of your physical as well as mental state. Upon our return we will enjoy a chef inspired healthy dinner and then join max at the bonfire for a facilitated drum circle.
Drum circles have been around since ancient times, providing a uplifting community gathering as well breaking down social barriers all while providing physical and emotional therapy.
Friday night we get to bed early giving us ample time to rest and recover.
Yoga on Saturday morning is early, enabling us the ability to enjoy the sunrise and set our intentions for the upcoming days practices.
Once we have gotten our energy flowing and head in the right space, join us for an enjoyable healthy breakfast.
After breakfast Chelsea from www.soulscription.life will introduce you to the enchanting exploration of Cacao- a beloved superfood with a rich history and transformative properties.
You will not only learn about the history and its significance in ancient civilizations, but you will also learn how to prepare and use this superfood in your daily life.
Each participant will each receive a 100g bar of Soulscription Chuncho Cacao.
This will then be followed by a guided meditation, whatever it is that you are working on, situations you are maneuvering through, this is your time to turn inside and block of all the external noise and distractions allowing your focus and clarity to come through.
Post meditation is a great time to reflect on your thoughts and emotions and also our opportunity to help you on journaling class. Now that the creative juices are flowing we gather and eat another heath inspired meal.
After lunch we all retreat to the open area and join Betti Thomasian as she instructs us through our Qi-Gong class, this class is a traditional Chinese practice that involves a combination of movement, breathing, and meditation.
It's said to improve health, flexibility, and balance.
After our Qi-Gong experience we will return to the event space and enjoy a somatic Breathwork Journey .
This Somatic Breathwork is an embodiment experience that uses circular connected breathing coupled with rhythmic music to clear our suppressed emotions and stress in a cathartic emotional release.
Now that we have released a few triggers and got our synapse firing, move right into a collective Sound Journey. Utilizing Himalayan Singing bowls, with the scientific validation that we are all in a state of vibration, Sound (vibration) can reduce imbalances on every level of physiologic functioning, it can also play a positive role in the treatment of virtually any medical disorder.
Singing Bowl Sound Therapy draws upon the use of frequency, vibration, and sound energy for rejuvenation on a cellular level. We will then gather for dinner, clean-up and reconvien at our event space for an intimate night enjoying the talent and musical artistry of Kris Lager.
After the full day of classes and the singing and dancing we return to our rooms for another good nights sleep. Start your Sunday off with another early morning Yoga class and a guided meditation, this will set the tempo for you and your new mindset, preparing you for your departure and a new refreshed outlook on your surroundings.
Enjoy one more breakfast meal before collecting your belongings and taking these experiences and refreshing outlook with you back to your home and family.
