2024 Ozark Retreat!!
Hey friends,
I'm so stoked to be talking and thinking about The Ozark Retreat. It's hard to believe it is just a few months away!
First off all I can't believe we've been doing this for four years now!
The Franklin's, who own and operate Big Rock Candy Mountain in Jadwin, Missouri are truly amazing folks who have opened their wonderful place for us all to enjoy and experience. Every year they add more and more heartfelt goodness to the property and it truly is a spiritually rejuvenating time!
We will be book ending The Retreat with kayaking trips down The Current River! I have a philosophy that you should enter and exit the weekend with the floats if you wish to do it properly. The first float will calm you down and ease you into a relaxing, fun, and laid back Labor Day Weekend. The second one will launch you back into reality with a different perspective than you came in on.
In between there will be fantastic music, hangs, and great times! We will be playing Saturday and Sunday! Blake Gardner, Joe & Tay, and Jackson Stokes will be performing as well! SUPER EXCITED TO HEAR ALL OF THEM!! Big shoutout to Roger for assembling some great music! There will no doubt be jams! Did I mention I'm brining the big band??? That's right I've assembled the Assassins.... LET's GO!!
